Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday designated Arbaz Ahmad Mir S/o Manzoor Ahmad Mir as a Militant under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 196.
Belonging to Village Gufbal, Qaimoh District Kulgam Jammu and Kashmir, Mir is presently based in Pakistan and is working for Lashkar-E-Taiba (LeT) from across the border.
Mir is involved in target killing & emerged as the main conspirator in killing teacher Rajni Bala in Kulgam, J&K.
He is also involved in coordinating Militancy in Kashmir valley & supporting militants by transporting illegal arms, ammunition or explosives from across the border.
