Lal Bazar locality residents express concern over getting ‘extremely’ high voltage power

Say such high voltage may lead to some untoward incident; Will get the issue resolved as soon as possible: Concerned JE

 

Srinagar, Jan 08 (KNO): The residents of Umar Colony (Lane No. 2) locality of Lal Bazar area of Srinagar on Sunday expressed concern over getting “extremely” high voltage power supply for the last few days, which has resulted in damage to several household electronic gadgets.

Locals told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that they have getting “extremely” high voltage power, which is posing a grave threat to them.

They said due to this high voltage power many of their household electronic gadgets have got damaged.

“We have already informed the concerned department about the same, but nothing has been done so far, as we are getting same high voltage power for the last few days now,” said a local resident Rayees Ahmad.

Meanwhile, concerned Junior Engineer Rouf Ahmad told KNO that he was not aware about the issue and he will confirm the same from the ground staff.

“If there is any such issue, we will definitely rectify it as soon as possible,” he said—(KNO)
