Those shifted to Kangan Hospital have sustained multiple injuries. The medics gave anti-rabies vaccine to victims who have been identified as Amina Begum (65), Zahoor Ahmed (40), Mubeena Begum (70) Maryam (60) Abdul Aziz (65), Ghulam Ali (70) and Akhtar Hussain.

Expressing resentment over the incident, the locals said that the responsibility of catching stray dogs lies with the municipal committee but it has failed to curb the dog menace in the area. [KNT]
