An active Western disturbance will bring moderate to heavy rainfall in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir from 13 April late afternoon to 15th April night with moderate to heavy snowfall is expected over higher reaches during same period.
Peak intensity of this weather system will be from 13 night till 15 afternoon during this period moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in plains.
On 14 & 15 April Gusty winds, lightning and hailstorm is expected in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Initially heavy rainfall is expected in Gulmarg, Doodhpatri, Sonamarg followed by Fresh snowfall, few inches is expected.
Other Upper reaches like Gurez valley, Peer ki Gali, Sadhna pass, Razdan pass Sinthan pass, Zojilla 6 inches to 1 feet is expected during 13-15 April.
From 15 evening April weather will starting improving in Jammu and Kashmir.
Overall on & off rainfall is expected in Jammu and Kashmir for next couple of days.

🔹Travelers are advised to avoid traveling on Jammu – Srinagar National Highway during 13-15 April as heavy rain is expected.
