Says people are requested to cooperate with police in curbing the menace of drugs from the society
Baramulla Jan 15 (ANR)Baramulla Police on Monday claimed that they have Arrested Most Wanted & Notorious drug peddler in Baramulla,Contraband substances recovered from him.
According to statement issued by Baramulla Police as per (ANR) said, Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested most wanted & notorious drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substances from his possession.
A police party of Police Post Delina headed by IC PP Delina at a checkpoint established at Juhama Market, intercepted one person. During his search, 270 grams of Brown Sugar like contraband substance was recovered from his possession. He was identified as Mohd Ayoub Shah son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Ladoora Rafiabad. He has been arrested and shifted to PS Baramulla were he remained in custody.
Accordingly, case under relevant sections of law have been registered at police Station Baramulla and investigations have been initiated.
