Cattle theft in Hablish area of Devser in Kulgam

Kulgam,Jan 16:-Creating panic among locals, Cattle thieves have stolen cow and calf from a cowshed in the Hablishi village in South Kashmir’s kulgam district on Sunday intervening night.

Source said that “cattle thieves are on the prowl in the area. “In a fresh incident thieves broke into the cowshed of Gull mohd bhat son of khazer mohd bhat Resident of Hablishi and took away his cow and calf.

A local resident, Gull mohd bhat whose cow was stolen told that on Sunday midnight thieves stole their cow and calf.

I had brought these animals for around 1.30 lakhs from local farmers, he said that we have loged a complaint before concerned Police Station and I request the concerned police to look into the matter and arrest the thieves as soon as possible.”

The locals have appealed the authorities to look into the rising cattle lifting incidents in the area.“`
